    In theory, I think it might work since chia seeds, like psyllium, absorb liquids. I would add the water little by little to check on the consistency. I have not tried it though. You posted your querry on Sept. 10; have you tried it by any chance?

    What's in the picture at the headliner? It looks like a churro. Obviously it's not that, but it's not in the list and that was the reason I even clicked on snacks. Other great ideas here, but really interested in the headliner.

    Unfortunately there is not a good substitute for psyllium, it's a very unique ingredient.

    Hi. just wanted to say if you've got an Indian / international food shop near you, you can look for isabgol. At least in the UK, it's a lot cheaper than other brands!

    Generally, it is better to avoid snacks and go at least 4-6 hours between meals. There may be times though that you are hungry before dinner and you can incorporate them; snacks are also nice to offer guests as an appetizer.

    Hi, I do Home Care and I am on the road going from house to house so I am eating my lunch/snacks in the car. Do you have any recipes or suggestions on what I could have? I also need a fair amount of potassium in my diet as I have a ileostomy. (I have 2 bananas a day)

    Here is a list of packable low carb lunches for on the go. Bananas are not going to be low carb enough for keto. If you need the potassium you may wish to speak to your doctor about a potassium supplement.

    I found it on Amazon. One12 oz bag for US $9.99. It’s on Walmart online as well. Also, considering you don’t need a lot of it per recipe, it should last you a while.

    Hi, can some one please explain the difference between the green , orange and yellow carb count? i guess green is the best...but what does the orange and yellow stand for? initially i thought it was the number of carbs but then i saw that even 10 grams can have a green dot and 6 can have an orange dot.

    I'm allergic to eggs so use Orgran No Egg egg replacer. 1 tsp of the powder to 2 Tbsp of water replaces one egg (I find warm water blends the powder better than cold).     Those may be fine; you would want to keep an eye on how they affect the carb count.

Apart from the very obvious vocabulary issue, and the issue about measurements, there is little doubt that a US diet is very different to a UK diet. I’m getting tired of searching this website to find anything I recognise apart from bacon and eggs!

    Just started thus week. But today i am hungry. I had the ganola for breakfast and 1 tuna melt (not 2 in the serve) i had it last night and had a tummy ache, not sure what ingredient in the bread is giving me that. So just had 1 today, and mot as bad tummy ache. Anyway I know and feel my body needs more today, what can I eat? I dont want to go over the 20gcarb & want to stick to 1600 calories. Please help, im sp hungry...
