Other than right here there is no place to post your question for the Drs. There's an "ask the Dr page" but no place whatsoever to type your questions. I have a question and I'm a member but I can't ask because there is nowhere to type??

  3. Teresa, asking questions should be simpler, I agree, but it is certainly possible. Just click on one of the experts in and scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page. There you can ask your question. Here's Dr. Fox for example: http://www.dietdoctor.com/member/ask-the-experts/dr-michael-d-fox

  5. Hi Nichola!

It's coffee with 1 tablespoons of (grass-fed) butter and 1 tablespoons of MCT-oil. The "drink" is blended.

Hello my name is Gary Green. I am a chiropractor and I refer my patients to your site often. What I am looking for myself is an in depth on line instruction course or manual that teaches all aspects of LCHF. Something professional level dealing with the physiology, biochemistry and research.
    Thank You.

    Hi Docs!
I am a truck driver and the two week challenge is a bit more of a challenge for us truck drivers. Most of the time we eat what is available in truck stop either at fast food chains or sit-down restaurants and what we get is neither organic or what anyone would call healthy. Truck drivers are fast becoming some of the most unhealthy, overweight people in the country. MOre and more drivers are being diagnosed with hypertension, diabetes, obesity, sleep apnea, heart disease, etc., etc.
Is there a LCHF plan that could be used by our mobile society that does not have the option or means to prepare the meals in the Challenge program? What kind of specialty plan could you create or advice could you give for eating healthy for the truck driver?

My husband is a truck driver and does tramping so is away from Monday to friday. He has a 12/24 volt cooler box and he takes his entire weeks' supply of food with him, apart from salads which he buys en route from any of the supermarkets as he goes. Grated cheese and goats cheese, boiled eggs, tinned fish and smoked mackerel fillets, a pot of cream, slice meats, pot of mayo are his staples. They all last perfectly well. He prefers me to pack them in meal sized portions so he dies t overdo it. He is 59, 5'11", 11st 10 and a 30" waist. It can be done!!

    Hi Team Diet Doctor,

If you can make a professional recommendation for a lab in London, England that does advance lipid testing, I'd really appreciate the name of the lab (this test is not performed in Switzerland!). My recent bloodwork was as predicted and my endo quickly suggested statins...sheesh. Eating LCHF since January 2016.

    Dear Rob,

Genova Diagnostics does a test ("CV Health") that, besides total cholesterol, LDL, HDL and triglycerides measures LDL particle number and size. It also measures other factors that may contribute to heart disease (e.g. inflammation, homocysteine). However, you'll need to work with a practitioner to request the test for you. This could be a nutritional therapist. The BANT website helps you find one near you.

I'm a member and will probably stay for a few months. I would stay longer but the site appears all over the place to me, there doesn't seem to be any logical way to make comments, ask question, make suggestions, share stories. The lack of these options will probably drive me away from paid membership

    Hi there,
After reading through this site (not for the first time) i'm stymied by the fact that from all your "FAQ" there isn't ONE SINGLE mention of vegan or vegetarian alternatives. Please elucidate me! Perhaps I didn't locate this. For obvious reasons, going low carb can pose challenges to non-meat eaters. Where can we get more info? If not your site, what do you recommend?
    Thank you! Margaret

    To Rob Roman,
I was given the details of this lab for advanced lipid testing, there are various blood draw locations throughout the UK including London. Hope this helps you to avoid statins, best of luck.

I started my free trial membership, but I had to cancel as I found I did not have the time to go to my computer & watch your videos, etc. If you offered a ROKU app, I could join again! I loved what I saw of the videos & all the wonderful information on your site!

Just a short note to compliment Andreas and his team on one of the best websites I frequent. Loads quickly (even more quickly now!), is uncluttered and has wonderful receipes, videos and advice. It is now my main source of information and support for my new LCHF lifestyle. Thank you.

I joined your site for the free trial on Sunday. I have two meals a day - skip breakfast most days as I'm not hungry I will simply have a beef bullion hot drink. Have lunch and dinner. I have gone from 62kg to 61.8 to 61.3 to 61 and this morning 60.3. That's four days of being totally satisfied enjoying my cup of coffee with cream and the food on the list. That's even making up some of my own recipes within the guidelines.

I am an ex elite athlete and sports nutritionist and ex international model who now works as an Executive Assistant in Government. When I started working in Government I was ripped and weighed 51kg my top training weight. With all the morning teas, birthday's etc in 3 years I gained 11kg. Not being used to weight or fat on my body it was always uncomfortable even though in peoples eyes I looked good. They just couldn't see the rolls of fat under the clothes.

I am a great believer in the diet and totally agree with all you are saying. Even when competing -all the loaded carbs I was told to consume (on staff I had a dietician) it never really made me feel at my optimum.

So thanks and long live LCHF.

After learning about low carb a year back, I came across, diet doctor website, and read almost 80% of its free articles to enrich MG my knowledge while I was transforming myself. I have become a real fan of all you experts and this website. Now with this knowledge & with my own experience of LCHF I have started making a difference to people's life. Today I have started with a membership from diet doctor. I will certainly like to join the team , after sharing my CV and experience. At this moment, I would like to continue and explore all the paid content 1st to enrich myself more,, before sending my CV. I am really excited to see your this " Work with Us" section. I am from India. The countey with billions of people and maximum death due to either diabetics or CVD. But it's not due to these two disease but mainly due to lack of knowledge, I personally believe.
