    I understand the removal of sugar and processed foods from our diets but I do not under stand (or agree with) the amount of fats that keto diet suggests. How can a Dr even go this route? I'm going to guess few Dr's (heart surgeons in particular) agree with this. Keto just seems like another fad diet. I'm sure it will lose weight for people just like every other diet does. Is there sufficient long term days to even go by?

    Those that are terrified of eating HEALTHY fats are well indoctrinated by the foolish line of horse pucky science perpetrated on the USA public by Ansel Keyes and George McGoverns health committee. Eating industrial seed oils and fats in combination with grains and sugars increases the inflammation at the cellular level and tiny cracks and lesions in arteries. SUGAR and grains are the culprit one should be terrified of NOT natural unprocessed saturated fats eaten in the ketogenic manner.
