Ingredients

  • 1 cup 240 ml mayonnaise
  • 1 cup 240 ml crème fraîche or sour cream
  • ¼ cup 60 ml mild chili sauce
  • 1 (1 oz.) 1 (30 g) shallot, finely choppedshallots, finely chopped
  • ½ (2 oz.) ½ (60 g) red bell pepper, finely choppedred bell peppers, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup 60 ml dill pickle, finely choppeddill pickles, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp tabasco
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Instructions are for 10 servings. Please modify as needed.

  1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a bowl. Let sit in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to let the flavors develop.
  2. Skip (or reduce) the tabasco if you're using a hot chili sauce. You can also use sugar-free ketchup or tomato paste if you want a milder sauce.

Tip!

A perfect touch to complete that Reuben sandwich on Oopsie bread! This dressing will keep for 4–5 days in the refrigerator; make some extra for dressing your salad later in the week.

    Chili sauce has 20 g for 4 TBS and 12 g sugars from corn syrup - not very Keto friendly.

    Chili Sauce is ambiguous. Please update the recipe with a brand or Chili sauce recipe.

    Vielleicht könnte man passierte Tomaten mit gehackter Chilli und etwas Low Carb süße aufkochen?

    Even simpler & low carb; 1 cup mayo, 1/2 cup ketchup, finely chopped dill pickles and an optional couple of drops of stevia sweetener. Mix everything together and thin with about a 1/4 cup water or cream, if too thick. Makes 2 cups when thinned.

    I found this hot chili sauce In the Asian food aisle and it has less than one g of carbs.

    What is chili sauce? When I look at the grocery store the stuff named chili sauce is loaded with sugar.

    The chili sauce I use is not very mild, but very low in carbs. It is generically called sambal oelek, and it is the lumpy garlic-free version of the chilis used in sriracha.
