T’is the season-ing! This wonderful combination of spices brings about visions of low-carb sugarplums. Perfect for that extra hint of holiday magic!
- 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons ground cloves
- 1½ tablespoons 1½ tablespoons ground bitter orange peel
- 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon fennel seeds
- 2 teaspoons 2 teaspoons anise seeds
- 2 teaspoons 2 teaspoons ground cardamom (green)
- Mix together the ingredients well and store in a dark and cool place, in a small container.
- If you know that you won't be using the seasoning until the next holiday season, keep the container in the freezer. Or make an extra large batch and give away as gifts.
