Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp 3 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp 2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2 tsp 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp ground allspice

Instructions

Instructions are for 1 serving. Please modify as needed.

  1. Mix the spices well and put in a jar with a tight-fitting lid.
  2. If you have whole spices on hand you can grind them using a spice or coffee grinder.
  3. Remember that the spices should be kept in a dark, dry and cool place. You can use small tin containers for storage.
  4. Make a large batch of seasoning for use within the next 4–6 months. After this time, the spices may lose some heat, flavor and color. They will still be safe to use, but perhaps not as flavorful.

Tip!

Make a large batch of seasoning for use within the next 4–6 months. After this time, the spices may lose some heat, flavor and color. They will still be safe to use, just perhaps not as flavorful.

Might I add. Use a ribbon hold a star of anise as decoration. Beautiful presentation and fitting for what's inside the container.

You can buy this in Australia. It is made from the ground berries of the Pimento tree. Also known as Jamaica pepper.

Today I made the French pancakes, and they are yummy, I added a bit of ground cinnamon for a bit of sweet. tonight for my desert I will have one with a few slices of peaches (canned in water) and whipping cream...
I also from the same recipe made crapes. I recommend trying it
