I prepare this every Sunday and eat it all week.
Fried Cabbage With Bacon & Onion:
6 slices bacon, chopped. 1 large onion, rough sliced. 1 teaspoon minced garlic (two cloves). 1 large head cabbage, cored and sliced.
1 teaspoon salt, or to taste. 1 teaspoon ground black pepper. 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes.
2 teaspoon onion powder. 1 teaspoon garlic powder.

Place the bacon in a large cast iron skillet, cook over medium-high heat until crispy, about 10 minutes. Add the onion, cook and stir until the onion is softened; about 10 minutes. Add the garlic, then immediately stir in the cabbage and continue to cook and stir another 10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes more.

On Sunday i saute a whole head of sliced cabbage, grated zucchini and carrots with lots of butter, olive oil and garlic and alternate betwwn ground pork, chicken etc. And add some soya sauce and hot sauce. i keep in a large container and it feeds the kids and hubby lunch all week.
