Instructions

Instructions are for 8 servings. Please modify as needed.

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, and ranch seasoning.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to let the flavors develop.
  3. Serve as a dip or a salad dressing.

Tip

Want a thinner consistency for a ranch dressing? Swap out half of the sour cream with buttermilk, or use water to dilute it.

Plan ahead and mix up a big batch of our ranch seasoning. That'll make it super easy to throw this dip together whenever you feel like it. Why not give away a few jars? It makes a great hostess gift!

Make a fathead pizza shell, put some LFHC ranch on it, add pepperoni or sausage if you like (bacon is better), add pepperoncinis -- or better -- giardiniera, heavy on the cauliflower. Heat and eat. Add extra cheese if you like, but not needed.

Excellent dip, used it lettuce, cucumber and tomato salad and you do not need much of the dip!

This is a staple for me. So full of flavor. I make it weekly for my cucumber, salmon and avocado lunch bowls. It's surprising bc I'm not really a ranch person when it comes to salads but this is deliciou.! Just today I discovered I was out of sour cream and subbed Greek yogurt. Even better!

OK .. .. I saw this and decided to try it, I have tried others in the past and was not exactly thrilled and by looking at ingredients I was prepared for the same result here. I finished mixing it and let it stand for about ten minutes to blend flavors and just tried it, WOW.... I will never buy store bought again

25 teaspoons is equivalent to 8 tablespoons plus one teaspoon, which is equivalent to a half cup plus one teaspoon.

Didn’t love this, tasted way too much like I was just eating Mayo on a salad. I switched it up and did more sour cream than mayo the next time and added a little more ranch seasoning and it was much better.

Many foods have natural sugar. All dairy is going to have some carbs/sugar because of the natural lactose in milk/cream/dairy. For most people, if they are keeping their overall carbs very low, their blood sugar will not be affected. The best way to know if something is safe for you is to test and see if it spikes your blood sugar.

Make homemade mainaise all the time. Mine lasts weeks if they don't eat it all first.

So everyone here has made the ranch seasoning they mentioned and used that or did you use a pre-made packet of ranch seasoning from the market?

There is a link to the seasoning mix. Don't use store-bought Ranch seasoning mix- it contains carbs and undesirable ingredients.

Took this to a bbq. It was an absolute hit. I had brought it for the appetizers, but everyone put it on their burgers too. I didn't have dried dill or chives, so I used fresh. Excellent.

As long as it's kept in a sealed container, it should keep for a week or longer.
