Ingredients

  • 8 oz. 230 g feta cheese, or halloumi cheese, or queso blanco, or queso fresco
  • 1 oz. (2¾ tbsp) 28 g (40 ml) thinly sliced, red onion (1 small)thinly sliced, red onions (1 small)
  • 1½ oz. 45 g thinly sliced, red bell pepper (1 medium)thinly sliced, red bell peppers (1 medium)
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp fresh rosemary leaves (optional)
  • 1 pinch 1 pinch red chili flakes
  • 1 pinch 1 pinch herbal salt, or sea salt
  • 2 tbsp 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Instructions are for 4 servings. Please modify as needed.

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the cheese in the center of a small baking dish.
  2. Scatter the onions, bell peppers, and rosemary on top. Sprinkle the spices over the cheese and vegetables, drizzled with olive oil.
  3. Bake on the middle rack for 20 minutes.
  4. Prior to serving, cool for 5 minutes.

    I have been reading so many of these recipes and I can hardly wait till I can eat again tomorrow. I just need to buy a few more items till I make these foods espically the desserts. O yummmmmm

    this cheesy bake is so yummy. I just served it with the remaining red bell pepper cut into thick strips. Maybe celery sticks too next time. And there will be a next time because the queso fresco was on sale and i bought some.
