I have had a very specific improvement over the last 6 months from LCHF/IF, besides losing weight. I play guitar, and the 2nd finger left hand (fretting hand) had become useless from arthritis. Certain chord shapes were not possible any more, and I was in the process of adapting to a different tuning as a work-around (kind of like Les Paul did in his later years). But gradually, since changing to this new way of eating, the pain, stiffness, and swelling in my finger simply went away.

I was prescribed 500mg naproxen and 10mg steroids for joint pain and headaches. Not able to tolerate the side effects I put myself on a low carb diet and lost 65-70lbs over the last year. My pain is nearly 100% gone. I am enjoying the diet and side effects unlike the drugs.
