Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Start by making the crust. Crack eggs into a medium-sized bowl and add shredded cheese. Give it a good stir to combine.
  3. Use a spatula to spread the cheese and egg batter on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. You can form two round circles or just make one large rectangular pizza. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until the pizza crust turns golden. Remove and let cool for a minute or two.
  4. Increase the oven temperature to 450°F (225°C).
  5. Spread tomato sauce on the crust and sprinkle oregano on top. Top with cheese and place the pepperoni and olives on top.
  6. Bake for another 5-10 minutes or until the pizza has turned a golden brown color.
  7. Serve with a fresh salad on the side.

Made this pizza for the first time and followed it to the T. Very tasty, and egg base was not overpowering at all. Would definitely make again!

Awesome!! Thank you for sharing your feedback!

This recipe calls for tomato sauce, not tomato paste. Tomato sauce is lower carb as it is less concentrated. In the UK, you can use passata if that helps.

I've tried many keto pizza crusts, and this is still my favorite. It is eggier than a traditional crust, but it still works really well and isn't tough and dense like so many other crusts I've tried. I prefer to mix it in the blender for a smoother spread and airier lift. It does freeze quite well.

Taste was good but crust was floppy. I could not pick up a "slice" and eat it had to do a fork and knife. Easy to put together but I won't make it again. Will look for a different recipe with almond flour in the crust.

This pizza was in my first week eating keto and one thing I do crave from time to time is pizza. It took me years to find the order out pizza and I finally found it. So when this came up in the meal plan I was dubious. Well, I became a very happy camper! The craving stems to the pepperoni and oh, guess what, pepperoni is one of the ingredients! I love this pizza, and I have tried a variety of the crusts on the website but this is my go to. I have started to cook my pizza’s in small no stick Oven safe frying pans (heritage brand) and this way, no paper, no mess and the cheese crisps up on the edges rather than falling on the paper. I would give this a 4 star because the crust is just a bit soft. I can still eat it with my hands tho.

This is a regular Friday night treat - add whatever toppings you like. Only hint is don't use a very strong cheese in the base - it can overpower the flavor of the toppings... go for milder cheese in base and then delicious mozzarella on top :D

Absolutely LOVE this. Quick and easy. I mix up the toppings. I was worried about an eggy taste but.. not at all!

This is my favorite recipe for keto pizza, although I did find the crust a little too eggy the the first time I made, so I doubled the amount of cheese for the crust and I love it!

This is so very good and my non-keto husband loves it too. The parchment paper is best, but I tried greased pan and it works too. I use the tube of unsweetened tomato paste, thin it with water and add a it of onion and garlic powder as well as orgegano and a teaspoon of erythritol. This recipe is solid.

    it's an omelette?

The taste and texture are a bit more than an omelet. The curst is a bit firmer and it isn't as eggy. My children surprised me by devouring these.

Excellent recipe! I added more spices & a flourish of green salad leaves atop my hot pepperoni.
Even my husband (who is a fuss pot) loved it!!

    My only criticism;

Amount of egg for the base could be reduced by 1’as it was a bit too runny.

    Otherwise beautiful!!

Hi, Roxana! It's the difference of weight vs volume. Milliliters are volume, while grams are weight.

Hi I have just started keto and I have to say I really enjoyed this pizza base. I had it set for 1 person and it seemed like a lot of food. Im a little confused after watching Andreas videos keto for beginner he talks about cooking supper and having half left for lunch the next day so just wondering if the recipe setting is for 1 person it is actually 2 portions??

The default setting is for 2 servings, so that's likely what Andreas is referring to. However, if you manually changed the serving size to 1, the ingredients will reflect enough for 1 serving only.

This came out really great for me, and while it was less stiff than flour dough, it held up really well and I could still eat it like a regular slice. I added some spinach before putting on the cheese and a few thin slices of red bell pepper on the top. Adding fresh thyme to the crust was also a great flavor boost. I really enjoyed it!

Yes! The versatility of this crust is amazing!

No, just no! If the Italian knew about this they'd be in tears. It's a mess of cheese and veg on a floppy eggy base, which is not pizza. Save yourself the time and disappointment. The other keto recipes are great but pizza cannot be messed with like this.

I am a little confused, the crust has mozzarella cheese, why the crust is no carb? and if the crust is no carb which part contains the carb?

I am a little confused, the crust has mozzarella cheese, why the crust is no carb? and if the crust is no carb which part contains the carb?

The crust would have a small amount of carbs per serving with the inclusion of the mozzarella cheese. The added cheese, tomato sauce, side salad, and even oregano would contribute to the overall carb count.

Store bought shredded mozzarella is coated in a type of starch, which definitely will help the texture but up your carb count. Is this recipe calling for the fresh wet mozzarella blended up, or just like the recipe says, a bunch of shredded mozzarella which I assume you buy?
