Instructions

Instructions are for 4 servings. Please modify as needed.

  1. Add the cottage cheese, chives, parsley, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper to a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Taste and adjust with additional salt, pepper, or lemon juice, if needed.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with extra chopped chives and parsley, if desired.
  5. Serve chilled with cottage cheese chips, fresh vegetables, or low-carb crackers.

Tip

For the best flavor, let the dip chill in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes before serving. This gives the garlic, herbs, and lemon time to infuse the creamy cottage cheese base.

Variation

For a different herb flavor, swap some of the parsley or chives for fresh dill or basil. If you prefer a milder garlic flavor, start with less garlic and adjust to taste.

Serving suggestion

This dip pairs especially well with crispy homemade cottage cheese chips. You can also serve it with cucumber, celery, bell pepper, radishes, or your favorite low-carb crackers.
