Ingredients

  • 2 (19 oz.) 2 (550 g) pork chop, 9 oz (260 g) eachpork chops, 9 oz (260 g) each
  • 1 tbsp 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 2 tsp 2 tsp Italian seasoning or barbecue seasoning (optional)
  • salt and ground black pepper

Instructions

Instructions are for 2 servings. Please modify as needed.

  1. Take your pork chops out of the fridge and let them rest for at least 10 minutes. Room temperature meat cooks more evenly.
  2. Pat the meat dry with a paper towel. Season generously on both sides with salt, pepper, and any other spices. (Italian seasoning or barbecue seasoning, for example.)
  3. Heat up a large frying pan on medium-high heat. Add the butter. Place the pork chops in the frying pan and fry for about 4 minutes per side or until a nice crust formed and the inner temperature has reached 135°F (57°C).
  4. Let the chops rest for a couple of minutes and serve with sides of your choice.
