A dietitian’s journey on a low-carb diet

After having ignored her health issues for a long time, Joy (The LCHF dietitian) finally decided to start following the low-carb diet she recommended to her clients one year ago.

This is her story and health improvements on her one-year LCHF anniversary:

So far, I’ve lost;

  • 32 pounds (15 kg)
  • 8 inches (20 cm) off my waist
  • 2 inches (5 cm) off my chest
  • 3 inches (8 cm) off my neck
  • 1 inch (3 cm) off my arms
  • 1/2 (1 cm) inch off my thighs
  • I no longer meet the criteria for type 2 diabetes
  • I have blood pressure that ranges between normal and pre-hypertension
  • I have ideal triglycerides and excellent cholesterol levels.
