I enjoyed the two-week challenge and lost about 20 lbs (9 kg). I had to swap out some of the meals as I didn’t like the ones recommended but it is a good way to get into the keto way of life.


Now that we’ve given it some time and blood work, here are the results. My husband (me 59, he 61 years) and I both lost nearly 20 lbs (9 kg), look and feel great.

However, my LDL cholesterol went up 30 points (although the HDL went up as well – such a mystery still to me). This put me in the high category and alarmed my doctor enough to put me on medication. While I was disappointed, I am adjusting the diet to allow better oils, less bacon and cheese, while still being low carb-high fat.

I’m also getting severe leg cramps at night, so I have to adjust for that, but I still believe in the diet and have been happy to be off of sugar, bread, pasta, etc. I’ll re-test in three months and see how things go.

Thank you Andreas, my husband and I are really surprised as the low-carb diet is all the opposite of what we’ve learned about nutrition and weight loss.

My partner lost 5 kg (11 lbs) during the challenge we did almost all of the recipes they were really delicious. Some other we had to switch and tweak a bit as I am lactose intolerant.

Me on the other hand lost only 2 kg (4 lbs) but I am feeling very good with the diet. We are planning on keep going with the low-carb diet and adjusting it to the family needs as we have two kids and sometimes it can be a bit challenging with them and having to cook different meals for the family.

One suggestion I can make is if you can offer family-friendly or kid-friendly meal plans or any information in regards with taking the kids into the keto diet in terms of tips how to introduce it and make it easier for them to move towards a healthier lifestyle.

Also, if you could do suggestions on your recipes on how to transform them to a low-lactose or lactose-free recipe, as I love the recipes as they are just struggle a little bit finding a way to adapt them for me.

Overall love the site, the support, the videos, we’ve enjoyed them very much, very informative and easy to understand. Also the inspiration is really awesome. Will definitely look into keeping the subscription longer.

I do enjoy the foods and so does my family, at times I wasn’t even hungry! Although I did follow it exactly I however did not lose any weight or inches. That being said I actually feel swollen, my wedding rings don’t fit very well. I feel maybe it could be due to the cream, as I wasn’t one to consume a lot of dairy (only some goat cheese or feta) or any breads to begin with.

My biggest thing was to cut out the sugar, which this two-week challenge has helped me do. I am going to continue the one month free but try the dairy-free options and see if that allows me to lose some pounds.

I’ve been trying to lose 50 lbs (23 kg) since gaining that from my two pregnancies and after reading the other reviews I am hoping this will allow me to do it the healthy way.

I did find that I was missing my vegetables in the two-week challenge, that I would normally have, all the recipes in the two-week challenge were cabbage or serve with greens. I felt it needed to have a different side other than cabbage and perhaps show newbies how to include more vegetables in their diets. I felt like the challenge would have been more for someone who always ate unhealthy and needed some rich, not a lot of vegetable dishes to win them over to change into this lifestyle. Where I was someone who was already familiar with paleo and plant-based, whole raw-foods diet came in and had that sort of food taken away and replaced with rich creamy foods without a lot of plants.

Just my opinion – looking forward to seeing how my next month will do and then will take my measurements again.


I liked the low-carb plan and all the recipes. I lost 3 pounds (1 kg) and lost several inches around my waist. I did not have any cravings and felt pleasantly full all the time. I plan to continue with the plan. I am hoping to lose a lot more weight.


I’m glad I stumbled upon your site when when I googled keto after reading about someone’s great weight loss and health improvements from eating this way. I’m 58 and took up the challenge.

I found the food very tasty, the menus easy to follow and having a weekly shopping list was a bonus for me. I didn’t suffer too many carb-withdrawal symptoms, except the second day where I felt a mild headache.

The good side effects are that my heartburn has gone and I wasn’t hungry, even skipped a few meals. Sadly, I didn’t lose any weight like I was hoping to even though I stuck to the menus exactly, no cheating… perhaps I need to make smaller portions in the future.

Looking to lose and never find again about 40-50 lbs (18-23 kg) and stay healthy, so I will continue with keto and your excellent menu options. Thank you D.D. and team for providing all the info and menus without charging up front like other sites do… that says a lot.


I loved it. Food menus were great. I lost 9 lbs (4 kg) over the 2-week challenge. Great tasty food. I am going to keep going and finally lose those last 10 pounds (5 kg)!
