“I am so happy living a low-carb life”

Cathy

Is the low-carb way of life unsustainable like many so-called experts claim? Well – not if you ask Cathy.

She wrote to us last year about the improvements she experienced when starting the diet. Now she has gotten back to us with an update. Apparently, she is still doing fantastic:

Hello Andreas,

This was me last year.

Again, thank you for such a wonderful site, it just gets better and better!

I thought with all the articles I read about how low carb is unsustainable, I would update my story – year 2.

I am so happy living a low-carb life and I do not feel any restrictions at all! There are so many resources now, that the only thing restricting my food is my imagination!

I still can’t tell you how much weight I have lost, but I am now in a size 4 and I am running! Who would have thought at 57 taking up running would be a thing, I love it.

Not only that, but my whole family is now low carb. We had to buy my husband new pants. Two years ago he was a size 42 waist, now his 34’s are getting loose. My son needed new clothes, down several inches in the waist. My daughters both needed new clothes down two sizes each! We estimate between 6 of us we are down over 200 pounds (91 kg) in the last 2 years. That is a whole person!!!

Now when I read those articles I laugh, maybe for them, but not for me!

Sincerely,
Cathy
