Here are new amazing stories from the people who’ve taken the challenge:
My husband and I were very surprised that we didn’t miss the bread and potatoes, being of Scotish and Irish background we really expected that would be a problem.
Unfortunately, we had a relative visit two days into the second week of the challenge and we found it very difficult to stick to the suggested recipes. We made the decisions to stay as strong as possible re the carbs and start the two-week challenge again. Today is the first day of the challenge, again, and we’re very excited to get going.
Thank you for all the recipes and positive input,
I liked every recipe and it really helped to have the plan. I took off 8 pounds (4 kg) and hope to lose another 50 lbs (23 kg).
I will try the free month and see if continues to help me lose the weight. My family doctor and gastroenterologist recommended your site.
I find sometimes though that I am not hungry for three meals. It’s really funny that I did not crave carbs.
I spent the weekend at camp and I did cheat on Thanksgiving with a little scoop of yogurt ice cream and a small slice of chocolate cake. I had a crampy stomach afterwards.
Is there a way to get more fiber?
I enjoyed it – and the process has got me reading about this a lot more to find out further info. With my work recently and being away from home during both weeks, I wasn’t fully able to follow the process – but am starting again this week and can totally see the benefits. The recipes were great, and I have stopped snacking in between meals as I just don’t feel hungry and more.
I am hoping that the second time around will bring some more results and then I can join up as a member.
Thanks again – the website is so full of information and I look forward to trialling the rest once I complete the first two weeks again.
The 2-week low-carb challenge was just what I needed! I lost 12 lbs (5 kg) in two weeks. I’ve been trying to lose this weight for years. Goodbye to bread, sugar, and pasta. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
I did well on the two-week challenge, lost 8 lbs (4 kg) but gained a pound back the second week when I did resistance training. I haven’t lost it yet. I have low thyroid but it’s controlled and hypo glycemic only had one day where I didn’t feel great but it wasn’t bad. What should I do on the resistance training days two to three a week?
I loved the low-carb challenge. I lost 6 lbs (3 kg) in two weeks. I think my goal is maintenance, as there is not much more to lose. Loved the dinner recipes! So easy!
The low-carb challenge was awesome! I lost 5 lbs (2 kg) in the 2 weeks. I know that it might not look like much, but for a sedentary person it’s pretty good. I won’t say it was easy, but when you start seeing results, it pushes you to keep going. I’m going to continue to monitor my carb intake.
