“You have changed my life”

Here’s a happy email that we received from Annett, who’s been able to reach her goals with the help of low carb:
My name is Annett.
I am sharing my weight-loss success story, hoping it will help someone get to their goal.
I struggled most of my life with my weight and have tried so many diets, but they did only work for a little while and I would gain the weight back plus more. I have a weakness for sweets, refined carbs such as breads, I do believe my problem was emotional eating. When I was stressed
I would eat all the junk I could find.
The thing that changed my mindset about food was when I went to the doctor and she told me I was borderline diabetic. That scared me, she said I have to cut the bread and sweets out of my diet. I didn’t at first, I tried but not for long. I went back to the doctor a year later and she told me the same thing. I decided to take control of my life and make changes to lose the extra weight. At this time I was weighing 206 pounds (93 kg).I did research and came across dietdoctor.com. I found it very interesting, so I decided to give it a try and to my surprise I started losing the weight very fast and I liked that so I continued. I started on April 19 2016 and by November 26, 2016 I had lost 50 pounds (23 kg), that’s 7 months. I love the way I look now, I went from a size 16 to a size 10, which was my goal. I haven’t wore size 10 since high school. I have more energy and I am happy with the way I feel and look. I haven’t gone back to my doctor as of yet, but I am looking forward to it.
My biggest challenges were the sweets and bread, but the great news is I didn’t have to deprive myself of all that, I just found healthier alternatives. I discovered almond flour, coconut flour, flaxseed meal and coconut sugar. I made my favorite food with these. I discovered a whole lot more with wheat free website also. And doint intermittent fasting.
I am happy I found diet doctor, you have changed my life.
