I've been trying to do Keto for a couple of months now but my nails are splitting, I'm constipated and now my iron is low!! I've not lost any weight either, in fact I think I've put some on!! Desperate!!

I fasted for 21 days. My Blood sugars are in the low 90s. My A1C went from 10.7% on dec 28, 2017 to 5.6% on 3/29/2018. Lost 50lbs by fasting 21 days and 3 - 4 day fasts. It works!

I fasted but at 22 hours my glucose started rising instead of dropping, it was up 15 points, then at 24 hours it was up 35 points... I got frustrated and broke my fast... I'm type2 on a zero carb diet and know it's gluconeogenisis but how long do I have to fast to resolve this?

You may find this guide helpful. Some people find that eating a protein heavy meal can help stop the blood glucose rise and higher protein meals can be excellent for long term blood glucose control.
