Here are new fantastic stories from people who’ve taken the challenge:
My name is Veronika, I am 26 years old from Czechia. I started the LCC just because I was curious. I’ve tried many diets, but I was always hungry or I had sweets cravings and never lost any weight. With your challenge, I finally found the right way. I feel much better, no bloating, no “stones in belly”, I have more energy and feel satisfied with much less food. I have lost 3 kg (7 lbs) during these two weeks. I will continue on this lifestyle and I have to say a big thank you for your work, website, videos and all!
I’m a 30-year-old female from Newcastle, Australia. I was expecting the challenge to be quite difficult, but the food is so delicious that I felt no desire to stray from the diet. Even after a particularly stressful day when I usually would have loaded up on comfort food, the recipe for fat head pizza was incredible and really satisfied that craving for something “bad”. I felt a little nauseous on morning 4 and 5, but the bouillon really helped. After day 5, I could feel a difference in myself, I wasn’t bloated or uncomfortable, I wasn’t hungry in between meals, I had more energy and I just felt good about myself. Two weeks was enough to make me want to keep going!
My husband and I enjoyed the 2-week challenge. There were some side effects the first week as described in the daily emails. It was very difficult not eating anything in our pantry. We bought vegetables that we have never eaten before. I have always looked at foods by their fat content, its a completely different world looking at their carb counts.
I am 41 and lost 14 lbs (6.5 kg) and 1 (2.5 cm) in on my waist. My husband is 41 and lost 12 lbs (5.5 kg) and 3 inches (8 cm) on his waist. We live in Florida.
Thanks for the challenge.
What did I think about the low carb challenge? As an amateur Canadian mountain climber, through my research, I became aware that for long endurance it’s best to fuel the body using its own fats. A retired Navy Seal friend introduced me to Diet Doctor and suggested the low carb diet. Having just completed my second week what I have noticed is I eat less often, I’m more satisfied, and my energy levels are stable. I don’t crash or bonk in the middle of the day. The recipes and shopping lists make this a very easy program to follow. Oh, and I’m also down 6 lbs (2.5 kg).
My name is Hibaq and I am 27 years old from Falls Church, VA.The low carb challenge has really changed my eating habits and has helped me start a diet that I can actually keep up with. It has also introduced me to fantastic recipes that I’m excited to share with my family and friends!
Throughout the challenge, I made meals based on the recipes provided, however, if there was a meal I did not want to make, I’d make an alternative from recipes found on the website or I’d just repeat a recipe I loved from earlier. In total, I lost 7 lbs (3 kg) in two weeks. It could have been more if I strictly counted my carb intake (I admit that I’ve gone over 20 g some days). But after weighing myself and seeing/feeling a difference. I’ve been motivated to keep on with the diet and see how much more I can lose if I become a bit more strict.
All in all, it was a great challenge and I look forward to continuing the keto diet.
