“Thank you for helping me find this wonderful path”

Before and after

Before and after

Bradley Cooper struggled with weight his whole life, and went down a slippery slope of almost becoming diabetic at one point.

Then he found low-carb last November:

The E-mail

Thank you Andreas for starting up Diet Doctor! As with many folks, I have struggled with my weight for most of my life. I was athletic, played sports and spent a lot of time in the gym, but the weight never wanted to come down. I always carried my weight well, but over the past couple of years I slid down a slippery slope and became borderline diabetic.

At my heaviest I got up to 375 lbs (170 kg). I was depressed, lethargic, and constantly feeling run-down, which just led me to eating more. I tried and struggled with different diets. Every diet I tried failed. Each time I found that I was ALWAYS hungry and felt deprived of what I wanted, and my will power would then fail and so would the diet.

Last November, I happened across Diet Doctor and for the first time I thought I had finally found something that I could use to with great success! I waited until after the holidays to start so that I wouldn’t set myself up for failure, but I was determined to give this every opportunity to succeed.

During the first 6 months of low-carb, I didn’t increase the amount of exercise at all compared to what I was doing before I started, but I quickly dropped 80 lbs (36 kg) using the LCHF diet – all in 6 months! I was able to do this all while eating incredibly flavorful and satisfying food without ever feeling deprived. As soon as I removed the sugar, the fat I carried around just started melting away. I couldn’t believe it myself, but I have the pictures to prove it.

I have so much more energy now than I did before that I’ve started going back to the gym again. I sleep better. I can eat as much as I want, but I tend to eat less than I did before starting LCHF because my body actually responds to feeling full!

After the first couple of weeks and seeing some results, almost all of my cravings went away and it just got easier and easier. I have a lot to lose yet, but for the first time since I was in middle school, I’m under 300lbs (136 kg) and feel great about the way I look and feel!

Thank you Dr. Andreas. If I had not found Diet Doctor, I don’t know where I would be right now – probably in the hospital. Everything I had been taught growing up about nutrition is backwards from what I now confidently believe! Thank you for helping me find this wonderful path that has allowed me to take back my health, my energy, my life!

Thank you,

Bradley Cooper

Keep up the good work Bradley! Well done.

I get so happy and sad at the same time when I read stories like this. I'm so glad for Bradley that he found this and from now on knows how his body likes him to eat. I'm sad for all the years he was misinformed about what to eat, as well as a big part of the world still is. It must be such a relief to loose that weight, and in such comfortable and sustainable way. Congratulations!

So exciting to read your success story. I agree that this is a way of eating that works (for alot of people without struggling with hunger pangs). Incredible results. Congratulations and continued success. Nothing feels better than losing weight and feeling good. Very motivational.
