“LCHF saved me!”

Before and now
I received an email from Amanda, who is on a massive weight-loss journey with LCHF. Here’s her story:
The Email
Someone directed me to your website from a LCHF Facebook group I’m a member of. I started low carb in November of last year at 364 pounds (165 kg). I’m 5’10” (178 cm).
Now I’m at 255 lbs (115 kg). Went from a size 24 to a 12/14. I still have a long way to go but my progress thus far amazes me.
I’ve always been a yoyo dieter. I also bought into the low-fat fad and didn’t realize I was gaining weight (I feared scales).
Anyhow, I’m attaching some photos of before, during, and now. As I said, I have a long way to go but I’m appreciative of a doctor supporting a way of eating that actually works.
Although I’ve never had many legitimate health problems that are weight related, my blood pressure now runs on the low side and my heart rate runs in the 50s and 60s rather than the 90s.

I know I am 5'9" and weigh 238 and carry weight similarly... and wear a size 22/24 now. I cannot even imagine a 12/14 at this time.
Keep going Amanda, whatever the weight and sizes, you are doing wonderfully well! Such a success story. Keep going until you get to your goal.
Congratulations and good luck in your journey.
We LCHFers eat like our primal, ancient and 100 yr old ancestors (like my grandmother who lived until 108!) who survived and flourished, and NOT our relatives and friends who are eating processed, nutrient-deficient "food", dying obese,
hungry and miserable,
and suffering from the ravages of metabolic syndrome and man-made diseases.
Seems like a no-brainer to go LCHF but then again BIG FOOD has diabolically highjacked our food supply so that the average consumer's brain doesn't work at all.
Again, wishing you all the best Amanda.
Keep it up

May I please kindly ask you something? I've watched tv shows where people have opted for surgery and then found they had an abundance of extra skin to deal with. Some are lucky enough to follow up with more surgery for this. When losing weight naturally with a LCHF diet, does the skin fall better into place or does the same thing happen as with surgery? Thanks.
