Great way to start a ketogenic lifestyle! The wife and I both loved everyone of the recipes.

I am 64 years old and after retiring from a very physical 30-year career my weight just slowly crept up. I am 57 pounds (26 kg) over what I weighed when I retired. I have been looking at the ketogenic diet for about a year. The 1st of May I hit a “bottom” and gave up sugar and all processed foods. A week later I I found one of your videos on Youtube which led me to your website and the 2-week challenge.

The meals were so tasty and so easy that my wife jumped on board and is now learning everything she can about the LCHF way of eating. I have suffered from varying degrees of depression my whole life. Almost immediately my depression disappeared. I’m taking it one day at a time but it seems to be gone!

Oh, and I have lost 10 pounds (5 kg).

First of all, thank you so much for what you’re doing. I’ve tried doing keto several times now, but I fall short – mostly because I find it boring. Your meal plans seem to be so unique to me – first of all the flavors are amazing, secondly, the recipes are pretty quick and easy. I told my friend – who directed me to your website – that I’ve been doing “keto” all wrong!!

I’m a foodie, so I already had most of the ingredients on hand. I made the hamburger cabbage and it was amazing. I used Primal Kitchen’s mayonnaise and added the wasabi that was in the recipe – flavors were fantastic.

I’ve only just begun, but if what I’ve seen (and eaten) so far is any indication of how this is going to go, I think I may just be able to stick to it. I’m 66, work full time, I’m about 45 pounds (20 kg) overweight and have indicators of pre-diabetes, and metabolic syndrome. I have high blood pressure, however I have it under control with no meds at this time. I am not on any medication but I know if I don’t take action, that’s where I’m headed and I’m not going there (to medication)

Hello from New Brunswick Canada! Still living keto and feeling great!

49-year old female vegan for 10 years, to vegetarian, to keto! Surgery in 2015 left me with chronic pain diagnosed as fibromyalgia, tried numerous alternative remedies, pain persisted. I kept reading on fibro sites how keto had helped pain and inflammation and it’s true!!! I’m about 40’s and I live in Geneva, Switzerland, I had a very nice experience with your challenge. I found it easy to follow as i didn’t have to worry about grease, oil or fat meat. It was new to me. It was ok as well with the chocolates (I could stay easily without).

I lost 3 kg (7 lbs) in two weeks!! It’s true, even me I couldn’t believe it.

At 59 I have been on many diets and know the calorie content of most foods. I am 20 pounds (9 kg) overweight and have lost the same 10 pounds (5 kg) many times. The keto low-carb challenge was a mental more than a physical challenge. Higher fat and calories than I have been taught is good for me along with no grains is difficult to get my head around.

As they say proof is in the (full-fat no-carb ) pudding. Unlike other diets I was not hungry and my mood was better. As an added bonus I lost 6 pounds (3 kg). I want to eat the correct way for my body. To be healthy. Losing weight is an added bonus. I appreciate the scientific research and your explanations.

I loved it! I have lost my craving for sweets and bread! Yeah! I liked the recipes and especially that they were made for one person (me) and called for you to use the rest for lunch the next day! I was wasting so much food on another diet I tried.

I signed up for the free monthly trial and will most likely continue but I do miss my daily e-mail suggesting meals for the day. I think your website is great and think it has mega-information! Hopefully, I will learn how to use it to get the most of it.

I am a 66-year old woman living in Colorado. My son emailed me about this incredible diet. I took the 2-week challenge.

I have to admit I did not care for several of the recipes because I don not like spicy food. I did love the pizza in week one, except I added some extra meat. I made personal pizza size and none of my family could eat the whole thing. It lasted for 3 days!

I found myself wanting to have a snack in the evening, but it was more out of habit rather than being hungry. I followed the advice and had a cup of boullion and I felt perfectly satisfied.

I still am having trouble wrapping my head around high fat. It goes against everything I have been taught about healthy eating. Yet I have lost 9 pounds (4 kg) in these first two weeks! I have been pre-diabetic for over 25 years. My blood sugar levels are below 100 mg/dl (5.6 mmol/L) now. I am amazed. I can’t eat all the food allowed on each day. I eat only 2 meals and sometimes have trouble eating it all. My portions are slowly reducing and I hope I will see even better weight loss.. I am very grateful for being led to Diet Doctor.
