Here are new fantastic stories from the people who’ve taken the challenge:
My name is Charles. I started the keto challenge two weeks ago with moderate skepticism. I have been about 60 lbs (27 kg) overweight for years and battling high blood pressure with several different medications that never seem to have much effect.
After two weeks of sticking to the keto two-week meal plan I have lost 10 lbs (5 kg) and 1.5 inches (4 cm) from my waist. But most importantly my blood pressure went from 150/103 down to 121/83. I am truly amazed.I plan on doing this from now on as a true lifestyle change. This really may have just my life. Thanks so much to Diet Doctor for the great meal plan. I am never hungry and the food is great.
I enjoyed the two-week challenge. Tweaked it to suit our life and commitments. We both loved the recipes. I was hesitant as to what hubby would think (being a potato lover), but I received positive feedback from each meal. We both lost weight and feel really good work more energy.
Boy, WAS I a skeptic !! I have been on just about EVERY diet that came down the pike. It started way back when with Appetite Control, Nutri-System twice, Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Atkins, Med-fast, PILLS, etc, etc. I would sometimes get through one week sometimes even lose a few pounds. But would always gain it back PLUS.I started the keto after hearing a friend had lost and felt fine. I’m 63 years old and just had a total hip replacement so I’m not really ‘running’ yet. I have ONLY finished the first week as I hadn’t had the time to food shop. BUT after only the first seven day I am down 8.6 pounds (4 kg)! YES that .6 counts!!
I’m actually LOOKING FORWARD to the second week!! I’ll keep in touch…..
I have just completed the 2-week challenge, I have lost 12 lbs (5 kg) and feel great. I am going to continue LCHF, I aim on losing a further 12 lbs (5 kg). I am doing IF tending to skip breakfast and just have coffee, I don’t feel hungry so am not snacking – which was a big problem before LCHF.
I love the challenge. I had one cheat but got right back on course. I started the intermittent fasting and its great. I am so thankful to you Dr. Andreas and the team. I cannot thank you enough.
My son and his wife are hooked now as well, as is my friend and get this, my doctor. How about that. I am a walking add LOL. I certainly plan to continue as a member. It’s awesome. Thank you all.
The diet challenge weeks are flavourful and easy to make. I didn’t get into ketosis really at all (ketostix read about 0.5) but still I lost a little weight (2 lbs – 1 kg). I rarely ate bread, potatoes or rice before starting this process, so I am going to try the challenge for another 2 weeks and really watch to make sure I’m not over eating protein to see if I can get into ketosis. Thanks for making this easy and tasty.
Well, it wasn’t as difficult to follow as I thought it would be. I am 57-year old female, with about 50 pounds (23 kg) to lose. Had ankle surgery a year ago and was off my ankle for about 8 weeks, poof 20 lbs (9 kg) out of no where. Both of my sister’s started and was really intrigued with all the information so made the decision to try it. Retraining the brain is sometimes a bit of a challenge but finding food to eat is not that hard. Have to admit eating the fat as well is a bit of a challenge as well but given time it will get easier. Lost 10 lbs (5 kg) in the 2-week challenge. Will continue with the way of eating. Doesn’t make sense not too. My arthritis is better, less inflammation.
Thanks for all the recipes and information,
