Hello, I am a 65-year old New Zealander and have just done the 2-week challenge. I lost 9 lbs (4 kg), so I am really pleased as it makes a good start to a longish journey to get to a reasonable weight. I found the recipes interesting and importantly, tasty, and over time got into the cook two meals habit making life easier when doing shift work.

I will continue this as it suits me well and is essentially simple and not horribly expensive either. Thank you for the great support.

Hi!!

I am a 69-year old woman and live in Mill Bay, British Columbia, Canada.

After one week I had lost 5 lbs (2 kg), after two weeks not so much 1 lbs (0.5 kg). My blood sugar have improved. I now don’t have to use Humolog insulin at meal times and my Lantus insulin at nighttime is down as well.

All in all very pleased with blood sugars. I will try and cut back on protein and some fat, so maybe I can lose more lbs.

I was very pleased to receive a link to your site from a friend who has lost 50 lbs (23 kg) over the past few years following an LCHF diet. I loved the meal plans and all of the recipes on your site. I love to cook and have tried many of your recipes, all delicious.

I actually started the challenge right away (instead of waiting until the following Monday) and stayed on the plan for the past three weeks. I am down a total of 11 lbs (5 kg) and will continue on this plan. I want to lose another 30–40 lbs (14-18 kg) and I do not feel the least bit hungry and find it really easy to follow.

I stumbled across your website a couple weeks ago. I figured what could it hurt to give it a try. Within a few days I stopped taking my insulin and a few more days I had to stop my glipizide. I lost 8 lbs (4 kg) and 2 inches (5 cm) from my waist in two weeks.

I really enjoyed the two-week challenge. I’m 52, menopausal and haven’t found anything to shift the weight but I lost 2 kg (4 lbs) over the two weeks. I will continue with low carb until I get to my ideal weight.

Hi, friends,

I completed the 2-week challenge and dropped a pant size. I’m staying off the scales for a while, so I don’t know the pounds lost, but I’m thrilled with already decreasing one size.

The meals on the challenge were tasty and easy to prepare. Also, the daily e-mail encouragement kept me focused and inspired. When time permitted, I visited the website (I’m a member) and picked up more knowledge, recipes, and inspiration.
