I tried the diet for two weeks and was in strong ketosis the whole time and didn’t lose any weight. I didn’t eat very much food either so I’m not sure what happened. I guess this diet isn’t for me but thank you. I was familiar with the diet because when my son was young we used it to stop his seizures.


The low-carb challenge has gone great! So far I’ve lost 22 pounds (10 kg) and I no longer have cravings for sweets… Even my favorite double chocolate ice cream.

My wife and I just finished the two-week challenge and appreciated your team’s approach to LCHF. We both experienced some weight loss, which was part of our goal. Our other goal was to truly adopt this kind of lifestyle, which we have not been historically as proactive as we should have been. The Diet Doctor website’s menu and shopping plan really makes it quite simple to achieve this lifestyle, that we’ve known (in general) for some time, that it was healthy approach.

As you know, without being proactive in our planning, we easily succumb to quick and easy, which results in an unhealthy way of life.

We intend to continue to pursue this lifestyle (as a member of Diet Doctor), while working towards our weight-loss goals.

I do have a few suggestions for your team regarding the online menu when planning out the next week. If there is someone on the technical team that wants to inquire with me, I’d be happy to give them some feedback.

I thought the low-carb challenge was fabulous, back to the way of my parents’ generation. All that cheese!!! Yum.

There is no hardship at all with this diet, I never felt as I was depriving myself of anything although at times it was a little difficult to consume so much fat.

I have become a member and will continue with the weekly meal plans and look forward to the day I am 25 kg (55 lbs) lighter!
