Hi,

I’m 43 years old and from Queensland, Australia. Having tried for years to lose weight with pre-packaged meals, shakes, tablets and more, I found the 14-day challenge easy to stick to. While I didn’t hold high hopes (due to past experience) I was surprised to find after the two weeks I’d lost just over a kilo (2 lbs). While this may not seem like much, it means the world to me as I haven’t been able to lose anything for three and a half years!

The recipes are easy to follow, easy to adapt to the whole family, quick to make, quick to clean up and most of all, taste delicious. I’m continuing to follow this way of eating. The website makes it so easy to find something to cook, make a weekly plan and it even gives you an adapted shopping plan to suit if you want it. I can’t wait to see what my future holds. My post may sound like an ad or like you’ve heard it all before, it’s really not. I don’t normally post to reviews but I’m really happy with how this way of eating makes me feel. Worth a shot.

I really enjoyed the challenge. I started at 181 pounds (82 kg) and when I weighed in this morning I was 170 lbs (77 kg). I was never hungry. I made sure I drank plenty of water.

The first three days were tough; as well as a headache I also felt like I was having palpitations but they did pass. Some of week 2 recipes were not to my taste so I just repeated some of week 1’s.

I’m doing it again for another two weeks. My goal is to lose at least another 20 pounds (9 kg). My husband likes the recipes too and I just add a sweet potato or rice to his meals.

Thank you for the motivation I have been trying for four years to get the weight off and it is finally dropping off.

Hello Diet Doctor,

I have just completed the keto low-carb challenge and overall, I am happy with the results. I am 22 years old and based in the UK.

My starting weight began at 86.6 kg (191 lbs). After the first week I lost 1.6 kg (4 lbs) and after my second week I lost a further 1.4 kg (3 lbs) – 3 kg (7 lbs) in total. I also go to the gym three to five times per week for a 30-minute cardio workout before breakfast, so this may have helped with the weight loss.

I thought that I might get bored of scrambled eggs each morning, but surprisingly enough I enjoy making these. I now add different herbs and spices to the eggs for a bit of variety in a morning.

The meals that were suggested were mostly tasty, especially the egg-based pizza. I followed the recipes making just a few minor changes such as substituting leeks/celery for red onion. I also prefer to use garlic cloves rather than garlic powder. The meals were simple and the instructions were clear.

I have started to try out new recipes off of the website too. I have also tried out some of the snacks on offer too such as the hot chocolate, salad sandwiches and chocolate fudge which are all great ideas.

Overall, I am really happy with the results. The website is also really helpful in relation to foods to have and foods to avoid, such as alcohol. Gin and diet tonic is my favourite drink so I was more than relieved that I could continue to drink this. Fingers crossed that I continue to lose weight as I am already around half way there to my target weight after just 2 weeks.

The two weeks were easy to follow. I missed having a glass of wine. I got hungry around 3 pm every day. I did try to eat an avocado at times.

I do not think I really got into ketosis. I tried using the urine test strips and never went higher than the second lite color. I did not get headaches, the flu, or bad breath. I never went above 10 grams of carbs.

I lost 3.5 pounds (2 kg). I am going to continue.

I love the food and recipes! But I’ve only lost 6 lbs (3 kg) and I’m not sure which direction to go from here. I can do this diet, giving up carbs and sugar has been no problem but I’m not doing something right. I have subscribed to your program but I was expecting that I could call and consult a specialist. Getting answers requires time to search the videos and read the articles. So I’ve been frustrated. I would appreciate some guidance. I keep getting emails to subscribe when I’ve already joined, that’s annoying too. That’s what I’m thinking.

Absolutely loved it. I have lost some bulk, maybe a smidge of weight. I had pancakes yesterday to “celebrate,” (really, I made them for my son and they looked REALLY good so I decided I could, after two weeks) and will go right back to keto NOW. Most important thing – I think inflammation is DOWN – sciatic, etc.

Not being a cook, I found it was easiest to look at the general ingredients and just kind of eat from the list of foods. My only “non-success” is that I didn’t have three specific meals daily, typically, sometimes needing a protein snack in the afternoon.

Fasted for 12 hours almost every day (7pm to 7am). Then had coffee at 7am (plenty of cream, no sugar, then protein snack at about 10. Then a lunch, and a dinner.
