Is Coke paying dietitians to tweet against a soda tax?

When many tweets by dietitians show up argumenting against a soda tax, it sparks suspicion. Especially as they all seem to be on Coca-Cola’s payroll:

Ninjas for Health: Is Coke Paying Dietitians To Tweet Against the Soda Tax?

At least TV ads are easily identifiable as ads. But when some dietitians are selling out to Big Sugar by tweeting their talking points – for cash – it’s not very transparent at all. And it’s not very trustworthy. So I guess it’s quite typical behavior for Coke, trying to fool people by bribing nutrition experts.

Perhaps these dietitians should be legally required to include a #Itakesugarmoney hashtag, when tweeting for Coke?
