Can eating more fat lower your cholesterol?

What is the relationship between fat and cholesterol on a keto diet? Dave Feldman has dedicated a lot of time and effort to exploring this topic.

In the presentation above, he talks about his findings from very extensive self-experimentation, like whether eating more fat would actually lower your cholesterol… at least in the short term.

Video was great except at the end when the very spiked triglyceride levels were not mentioned during discussion about the low Total and LDL levels after carb loading for 2 days.

Carb loading is the obvious problem. triglycerides as the name implies is lipids being bonded with sugar. The liver normally only does that when it has sugar in excess which it doesn't know what to do with and essentially says, "Well I'll just bond it with this lipid and move on." The liver gets overworked and that's the kind of choices it makes because it has to go somewhere.
