Formerly 294 lbs with numerous health problems like hypertension, sleep apnea, prediabetes, arthritis. I started studying Obesity in 2013. In October 2014 I had bariatric surgery (a vertical sleeve gastrectomy). During my recovery I found Dr Westman's No Sugar No Starch diet. At first I made mistakes but now I've got it. And EVERYTHING IS BETTER! I visited Dr Westman in his clinic in August 2015, I joined the Obesity Medicine Association in 2015. I took the Board exam for Obesity Medicine in December 2015. I now practice exclusively Obesity Medicine and I am practicing the best medicine of my life.
