It was during my time doing inpatient hospital work that I developed a true sense of the prevalence of weight-related problems in our community. I found that by fulfilling the role of ally and partner in my patient’s health journey, my patients wanted to talk about weight management. I believe anyone can significantly improve their health and quality of life with education and support. I’m very passionate about helping my clients achieve their goals, and it is rewarding to watch them regain control of their health, not through the treatment of illness, but through the promotion of health.
