I have been practising the low carb approach to optimise perioperative care for 5 years with great success and am now including this approach to manage diabetic foot patients. I am more empowered since I discovered Diet Doctor, and have gained a wealth of knowledge. I am grateful to Diet Doctor for making it so easy to obtain references. I am in the process of involving the obstetricians and gynecologists in this. This is similar to how the discovery of helicobacter pylori and proton pump inhibitors have completely changed the history of peptic ulcer disease!!
