I remember reading somewhere that with live culture Greek yogurt, the carb count on the label can be ignored because the cultures eat all the remaining sugar.
Of course I want to find this reference again, but am failing to! :)
I think it was in one of Steve Phinney's books, not not 100%
Anybody here know the scoop on this?
    Thanks.
    Going to try this soon.

    Found it:
"Although the total carbohydrates in yogurt may seem on the high side, in naturally fermented yogurt (the stuff that doesn't contain gelatin), much of this ‘carbohydrate’ was lactose that has since been converted to lactic acid. "
Phinney, Stephen; Volek, Jeff. The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Performance (p. 57).

BTW, the above is a GREAT book.

This was soo delicious and easy. Even better the next day. I used crumbled gorgonzola cause it was on sale. Good on salad or dipping broccoli - or even with a bunless burger.

This dressing is the best I have ever had. I use Fage Greek Yogurt (plain, full fat), which is delicious on its own.

I love the new layout with the recepies, that you can choose 1 or 4 servings. But now I miss the european explanation for oz and other, like 6 fl. oz. nooooo idea how much that is :(

all these recipes sound delicous but I am not really low carbing (as in lower than 50 grams per day, I think I'm having 60-75 grams pd. Can I still have all this fat (mayo, heavy cream, fat cheese and more of that stuff) or should I lower that a bit then?

I always use Bulkan Yogurt 3/4 cup has 9g carbs and 8g sugar and less is more so make sure it is made with milk, cream and active culture and that is it.

All Greek yogurt seems to be non-fat these days, so I bought whole cream-on-top regular yogurt and skipped the additional heavy cream. OMG - delicious veggie dip. Bet it would be good on a hamburger patty...

My Blue cheese recipe has a couple of shots of worcheshire sauce added. It really adds to the flavor. Been making it for years to rave reviews.
I’m hoping it is ok to add and stay KETO friendly. Any info ?

It's it correct: 25 tsp? Couldn't that be in cup measurements rather then all those tsps?

Can I use sour cream instead of mayonnaise?

As this recipe already calls for greek yogurt, using sour cream instead of mayonnaise may make this recipe way too tangy. Mayo has a much milder taste than sour cream.

Didn't have parsley but added garlic powder, a dash of worcesterchire and some freeze dried chives. Used with dry rubbed chicken wings, on a burger, deli london broil roll ups and salads/veggies of any kind. Just ridiculously good.

I am not sure if this recipe has been revised recently. Heavy cream will help give this dressing a slightly thinner texture.

What is the serving size so I can record in Carb Manager?

I am not sure of the volume or weight size of a serving, but the recipe as written makes 4 servings.

    How much is serving?

It is best to divide your finished product into the number of servings in the recipe to determine the actual serving size, but it is about 1/2 cup for this one.
