Where on the Low-Carb Journey Are You?

Where on your low-carb journey are you? We asked our members and got over 1,600 replies. Here are the results:

low-carb-journey

As you can see, five in ten members are already living the low-carb lifestyle, while many others are still transitioning to it, or experimenting.

Unfortunately, for many reasons it can still be hard to eat low carb long term. We want to make it simple. Here are three things we are working on right now to make the low-carb lifestyle simpler:

1. Meal plans and shopping lists by January 2017

We recently decided to add a new product to the membership by January 2017: Regular new meal plans with shopping lists.

We aim to create a number of meal plans that are tailored to different needs such as keto, intermittent fasting, vegetarian, dairy free etc. Each meal plan will consist of simple and delicious low-carb recipes with a ready-to-go shopping list.

What would you like from such a meal-plan and shopping-list product? Please tell us in the comments below.

2. Audio versions of all membership videos

In one or two weeks we will add audio versions (soundtrack only) of all membership videos. First, we will add the audio version just below each video. Later, we hope to add a Diet Doctor podcast that contains audio versions of all membership videos. This will make it easier to listen to content – for example while driving a car – without consuming excessive amounts of mobile data or bandwidth.

What else would you like to see in these audio versions? Please tell us in the comments below.

3. Better low-carb, keto and intermittent-fasting guides

Over the next few months, Dr. Andreas Eenfeldt will be working hard to improve the low-carb and keto guides together with Amanda Åkesson and Jenni Calihan, while Dr. Jason Fung will be making the intermittent-fasting guide better and better.

What improvements would you like to see in these guides? Please tell us in the comments below.

Would love to see better formatting on the video transcripts. Right now it's just a paragraphless mishmash of words — you can't even see what person is speaking if there's more than one.

It would be great if it possible to cast the videos to Chrome Cast. Then it is more easy to see the videos together with somebody else.

Always been doing this. Just stream the whole screen via Chrome and then open a video full screen.

Meal plans for older people who are less active. I still find that 3 smaller meals per day suit my appetite and activity level much better. I know that much of it is habit but we have just been around longer to develop a well ingrained habit! I think I am managing better than some of my same age friends and I am sure we could all be helped. Thanks - Margaret
