Tim Ferriss and the Manhattan Project
Tim Ferriss is a young phenomenon with two #1 NYT-bestsellers and a huge number of blog readers and Twitter followers. He’s now also on the Board of Advisors of NuSI, along with an even bigger favorite of mine, Nassim Nicholas Taleb. Anyway, here’s Ferriss making the case for supporting NuSI:

Going forward, will the foundation also be a charity and collect money for the research both from countrywide collections and sponsors including national?
If it does not expand funding the independence can maybe not remain long term or research projects may just become too small and insignificant.
Existing cancer etc. collection charities can here get the serious competition they badly need by being contrasted to fresh independent research! And collections means publicity and debate where it is needed: What kind of research do you want sponsored?
The wisdom-per-page coefficient of The Bed of Procrustes is astronomical.
