I am constantly seeing patients with health issues like diabetes. I have long been dissatisfied with mainstream management of this condition. Now finally I am able to direct them to a sensible site with good information and answers to their many questions.

As a coeliac myself, I also love the recipes!

I am loving the low-carb challenge. My blood sugars have dropped to normal range, and I take little insulin now. I was taking 36 units and now I am down to 5 units and my sugars are perfect. I have also lost 17 lbs (8 kg).

I felt very successful with this challenge. Thank you! Everyday I did a bit of cooking and reading or viewing from the email links and it kept me motivated. That’s the first diet that helped me stop snacking. It’s also the first time my partner supported my diet (he liked this food!)

I didn’t really think it would work but I am thrilled that I lost 10 pounds (5 kg) and feel really well. I plan to continue to eat this way for 2-3 more weeks by repeating the same thing. Then I’m not sure what’s next.

The only change I want to make is finding a different breakfast. I don’t even want to look at another egg…

A friend of mine sent me the link to learn about the challenge. I immediately opted in, and for about 2 weeks watch the videos, and read some of the information provided to me.

In reading, I knew that the challenge starts on any given Sunday night and one Sunday 2 weeks after getting the initial email, I began my 2-week challenge. I have to say, having all the information and advice at my fingertips was so helpful.

Monday around 11am, I was wondering what I can snack on… so I looked. NOTHING.. if you’re feeling hungry, you’re not eating enough fat in your meal. Ok.. so after a few days, I realized my hunger for snacks was gone and snacking was just routine for me… and that craving and routine is now gone!

I also found that drinking broth was a huge help and for 4 days I looked forward to that suggestion around 3 pm. I was no longer on the broth after day 5 of the challenge. The daily meals that were emailed to me during week 1 were all pretty great…

I would say I made 5/7 meals the first week. The second week meals, I didn’t make any at all… a few I was just not interested in and so I ended up making my own meals at home using the tools I have learned as far as high fat, moderate protein and low low carbs. As of my last day of the 2 week challenge, I am down a total of 10.6 pounds (5 kg). TEN POINT SIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for teaching me the tools I need to try eat and live this way. I still have quite the weight loss journey.. but looking forward to seeing where I am at a year from now.

Hi Doc!

Overall I liked this site and plan on trying the group for the month and go from there. I lost 3-5 pounds (1-2 kg), however I’ve been on my own as far as food. I just thought that one more cabbage dish and I’m done for. Maybe because I haven’t followed your exact meal plan I didn’t lose as much as I could. However it has got me started on this journey.

One of the reasons I’m trying your site is to see the meal plans so that I can choose not to eat sooo much cabbage. Is it really popular there where you live, or did you pick it for health reasons? I love to snack, its hard to get out of the habit, but I’ve had yogurt and nuts, hopefully it is safe.

The two-week challenge just needs a little tweak with the meals (stop with so much cabbage) and it would be perfect. It was informative and it worked 4/5 stars.

I jumped on the keto wagon two weeks ago, and was so thankful for the Diet Doctor two week plan. It made shopping and meal prep so easy! The best part of these recipes is they actually taste great! So many time recipes online are terrible.

I have over 100 lbs (45 kg) to lose which is very daunting but am well on my may, 2 weeks in and I am down 12 lbs (5 kg) and 5 inches (13 cm). My only request is a month plan for meals and shopping… I still need guidance.

I am very happy I found the Diet Doctor page. I have been following my Doctor’s advice about eating, doesn’t work. I am 57 years old and tired of being overweight.

My family enjoyed the recipes I made. I started the challenge weighing 190 pounds (86 kg), today I weigh 180 pounds (82 kg). I am 5 feet 1 inches (155 cm) tall, need to lose 60 more pounds (27 kg).

It was a little hard – all that vegi stuff did a number on my stomach, but I got through it.

I am doing this diet with a friend who is curing her cancer by starving out all the sugar from her diet. It works well and she has lowered her bad numbers to zero. I don’t have cancer but this style of eating can only be good.

I will stick with it and live a long life.

I loved the low-carb challenge. This type of diet is really easy for me, as I crave this type of eating. There wasn’t a ton of meal prep, and I lost 4 lbs (2 kg) in two weeks. I’ve been on several diets/fitness programs over the years and couldn’t lose those last 10 lbs (5 kg). Now, I just have 3 lbs (1 kg) to get to my goal.
