I’m 29 years old and living in Orlando, FL. This challenge was absolutely amazing and I’m so happy I participated in it. I need to lose about 100 pounds (45 kg) and have tried multiple diets. I’ve known about keto and like many other diets I’ve tried it a few times. Nothing ever seems to stick for me.

The hardest part has always been knowing what to cook and what to buy at the grocery store. This challenge took the hardest parts of healthy eating out of the equation. I felt confident at the grocery store because the shopping lists told me exactly what to get. And I knew exactly what to cook each day with the recipes.

Also, the recipes themselves were fantastic, the tandoori salmon and homemade tzatziki is a dish I will continue to make for ages because I loved it so much! Not only did this challenge make it easy for me to stick with, but it also yielded fantastic results! I weighed myself before and after the challenge — when it was time to weigh in, I had already lost 10 pounds (4.5 kg)! Wow! 10 pounds in just two weeks, and I wasn’t even exercising! 10 down, 90 lbs (41 kg) to go and I’m feeling super motivated to keep going.

I thought the Keto challenge was great! It was so much easier having the shopping list all ready. The whole family (there are five of us) decided to try it and I was totally amazed at what the kids ate. They are usually picky eaters, sticking to meat and potatoes, but they tried everything! Eating veggies, salads and lots of meat in many different ways! We are carrying on with the meal planner and we are enjoying discussing our meals for the week after Sunday dinner. My eldest son lost 5 kg (12 lbs) and I lost 3 kg (7 lbs) over the two weeks! Win, win!

Challenge was good. Enjoyed the food. I’m actually just on week 2 due to schedule could not finish in two weeks. I have lost 6 lbs (2.5 kg) so far. I will continue with the second week.


I tried the two-week keto challenge and although I didn’t lose any weight (which was disappointing) I found that my skin was better, I normally need to use daily moisturiser as I constantly have dry skin on my face, I didn’t need it at all during the two weeks.

My IBS was also a lot better — I didn’t experience any symptoms at all and felt a lot better in myself during the challenge.

I found the first week easy and will admit that I did struggle during the second week. I found the recipes a bit time consuming but really enjoyed the food once it was on the plate.

I don’t like avocado so a substitute for that would be good as it is in three of the recipes on the challenge and being new to keto I didn’t know what to use instead.

Overall, I liked the diet as you got a shopping list and didn’t have to think about counting calories etc. I will probably do it again, just wish that I had lost some weight.
