I had been doing keto off and on without getting great results. The keto challenge gave me a new start, along with fasting I lost around 10 pounds (5 kilos). And now I am doing longer fasts to take off more weight.
I believe joining Diet Doctor, and rereading and watching the programs, has given me the start I needed to buckle down and find my way. As of today, I am down a total of 14 pounds (6 kilos). Thank you all for the information that you provide.
I am very impressed. Lost 10 pounds (5 kilos)! I loved trying your recipes and I wouldn’t have done that without your guide. I eat very healthily anyway and never buy processed food, but it has been very interesting to pay more attention to carbs and how to avoid them properly.I loved eating all the fat and found that my food intake has lessened so much because I am only eating what is required, I think. The food is full of flavour and very satisfying. I do miss eating fruit, but am enjoying the weight loss and high energy levels.
I wasn’t overweight but had gained about 14 pounds (6 kilos) over a year due to injury and so lack of exercise. I am planning to stay on the diet and may introduce low carb again. Thank you for the very easy to follow, quick to read recipes. I love all the ingredients and have a vegetable garden full of green salad so have been enjoying that. I found it so easy and the results were so quick and personally have always found that carbs never filled me up, I would always want more. This diet is the exact opposite!

I found the Keto challenge great, I lost a total of 6 pounds (3 kilos) which I was really pleased about.
I found the shopping lists really helpful. The recipes were delicious. My favourite thing about the plan was that it was designed for cooking once in the evening and saving half for lunch the next day. I thought I would be really hungry in the am but wasn’t and only had a bit of a headache on around day three-four as a side effect.

Hi Diet Doctor,
I am 52 years old and live in the UK. I have loved the free 2-week challenge so have joined up as a member (first month free). I love this way of eating. I am not snacking inbetween meals. I have just been eating two meals a day. Bacon and egg at 1pm and one of your main meal recipes at 7pm.Can’t believe how easy it was for me to cut out bread, cake, biscuits, sugar! I now realise how much I was addicted to these food stuffs and how bad they are for our bodies. I have had some headaches and just drunk a mug of Oxo in boiling water which has really helped.
The reason I started this diet is because I was diagnosed with diabetes which gave me a wake-up call. Now I really am not missing carbs because of how well I am feeling. I have more energy, feel brighter and more positive (I suffer from depression), no IBS symptoms in such a short space of time.
I have lost 5 pounds (2 kilos) in the first fortnight. My jeans are now baggy round the waist/hip area. This is what is spurring me on to maintain this way of eating as I am feeling so positive.
