The low-carb challenge was awesome! What I really liked was the weekly shopping list and the daily email of the meals for that day. It kept me on track and made following the new habit really easy.

I enjoyed all the food I cooked and learned new ways to prepare food. I tried new things and felt better for it. I wake up everyday not groggy but well rested and ready to start the day! I suggest anyone wanting to lose weight to give it a try. I lost 6 lbs (3 kg) and 3 inches (8 cm) off my body during my 2-week challenge. I plan to continue living a keto lifestyle!

I am a 61-year old woman who lives on Vancouver Island in Canada. I lost 4 pounds (2 kg) and 2 inches (5 cm) off my waist in the first two weeks. I want to lose about 20 more pounds (9 kg).

I have found this keto diet simple and satisfying, and I like the fact that I don’t have to obsessively track and record everything that goes into my mouth. I began this new way of eating because my doctor kept encouraging me to go low carb, having been recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. He told me that If I cut the carbs, my sugar cravings would disappear. He was right. I no longer dream of ice cream.

The first day or two on this 2-week low-carb challenge, I had a light headache, and I was a bit lethargic and hungry for the first week. And then, it was as if a switch flipped. I stopped napping, and became more energetic than I have been in years. My hunger also decreased, and I stopped my frequent trips to the fridge. It feels good, too, knowing that even if the scale numbers do not go down, my blood sugar numbers are. I like eating in a way that is kind to my body – promoting not just my weight loss, but my health.

I have found Diet Doctor very supportive – both in educating me, and in providing great recipes to try out. I’ve become a member to have a greater access to ALL those videos, articles, and meal plans. I’m telling my friends about dietdoctor.com, and they are checking it out, too. I am going to keep on keto. It’s good for me – inside and out.

The challenge was really good. I need to lose a lot of weight. I lost 15 pounds (7 kg) the first week. Nothing the second but we have stopped calling this a diet and determined this is a lifestyle change we are going to make permanent. We have loved the meals. Only one so far I did not like the others have been wonderful. I find I really only need to eat two meals per day. Timing is hard at work since lunch is a pretty ridged time frame.

Still fighting some temptations with treats but really applied the advice that if you are going to cheat do it planned. I have not had any temptation that was worth cheating for when I think about what I really want.

Thanks for the great help. The meals have been wonderful. I have really enjoyed the success stories. The many articles and videos have really helped me to understand my body better.

I’m a 54-year old female in the USA. Thirty pounds (14 kg) overweight. I found the challenge very easy to do. Loved the food and recipes and convenience of the shopping list. I was always satisfied after meals and haven’t really had cravings.

Lost about 7 pounds (3 kg) during the challenge and have signed up and enjoying the variety of meals and plans available. Lots of information on the website that I am enjoying watching and reading.

I like the Diet Doctor approach to eating. The food has been very tasty, and I have lost some weight (nearly 10 pounds – 5 kg), though I have a lot more to lose. I’ve become hyper-aware of how carbohydrate-heavy most of the snacks I normally eat are. My challenge is to learn how to eat differently.

Thanks for the “bite-sized” information videos. They help me a lot to understand the science and logic of why this approach works. I am trying to view low carb/high fat as a true lifestyle change and not a limited-time diet just to lose weight. Thanks for what you are doing.

I totally loved it!!! In 2 weeks I lost 4 inches (10 cm) around my waist, 1 inch (3 cm) off my hips and 6 lbs (3 kg).

I found the meals easy to prepare and yummy. Who knew frying cabbage in butter would be so delicious, but it is! Every meal has been sampled by my husband who can’t believe I’m losing weight while eating such tasty food… I have even had some wine on the weekends and still slimmed down.

I have about 10 more lbs (5 kg) to lose and would like to drop another 4-5 inches (10-13 cm) from my waist… so I am sticking with it for at least another few weeks and intend to maintain a keto lifestyle after I have achieved my ideal shape and weight.

I am 57 and am very familiar with the low-carb lifestyle. My sister has been a strict LCHF for five years and many in our family have benefited. I had success five years ago, fell off the wagon and have jumped back on. I was at the heaviest in my life not pregnant. 5’8 (173 cm) 161 lbs (73 kg) now down to 153 (70 kg) this morning.

What I love about this website is the information! A lot of the reading I’ve done previously was not as well laid out, lots of guessing. When you do everything right and still don’t lose its gets frustrating and food is there to comfort you. The help presented here helped me a lot. I navigated around the issues and kept on going. I’ve been at it for three weeks and lost a solid 5 pounds (2 kg) for sure with swings to 8 lbs (4 kg).

I haven’t signed up yet but intend to as the recipes are real food and not quite so experimental with content trying different sugar substitutes as other sites.
