    I continue to see references to "fizzy drinks" but I cannot find anything to indicate that there is danger in carbonation. The "fizzy drink" articles always speak only to sugar as the offensive element. I drink plain seltzer water, which by definition is fizzy. I drink it because it is more palatable than flat water. If there is some risk in carbonation, the "fizzy drink" articles should explain it. If there is not, then the terminology should be changed to direct the focus to sugar rather than fizz. Not only does "fizzy drink" include drinks that do not contain sugar, it excludes drinks that do contain sugar. Perhaps "soft drinks," instead...
