Peaches! Stunning. Effortless. Celebration of summer. All of those words perfectly describe this wonderful low-carb dessert!
4 servingservings

  • 3 3 ripe peachripe peaches
  • 2 tbsp 2 tbsp butter or coconut oil
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup 225 ml heavy whipping cream
  • ½ tsp ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions are for 4 servings. Please modify as needed.

  1. Divide the peaches into four pieces and remove the pits.
  2. Brush melted butter or oil on the cut surface and grill the wedges on an outdoor grill or in a grill pan. About a minute on each side will be enough. You can also fry the peaches in a regular frying pan.
  3. Whisk the whipping cream to soft peaks and stir in the vanilla.
  4. Powder cinnamon on top of the peaches and serve with the whipped cream.

The peaches may also be served with a generous amount of non-flavored Greek yogurt. And these grilled peaches adore a hint of vanilla or lime zest!

If you are trying to keep your total carbs to 30 per day, I'd say this isn't low carb.

I don't think I would risk peaches on a keto diet, I normally have blueberries/blackberries etc if I have any fruit, that being said these look amazing.

I would skip the peaches and grill 1/4 heads radicchio, or 1/2 heads Belgium endive, and drizzle with tons extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar. And eat as many as I like no restriction.

There's no way I'd eat peaches. They're too sweet and carby. On the other hand, these would be great for my kids...if I could get them to eat these, which I couldn't. Maybe when they're older.

This is under the liberal low carb menu (50-100 g of carbs) not the keto menu. They are promoting different variations. These sound delish!
