Membership Quickly Passes 1,000 People

Wow, that was fast! We launched our membership site on Monday and on Friday more than 1,000 people had signed up for a free trial. More importantly the members seem to love it, we get great feedback on the site.

Have you signed up for a free trial month yet? I’d love if you could tell me what you like and don’t like. Any suggestions for improvements are also most welcome. Use the comments below or e-mail me at andreas@dietdoctor.com.

Congratulations on achieving this milestone. I expect you will get to 10,000 as the word of the success of LCHF spreads. You're a good man doing important work. It was your video that first got me involved in LCHF over 4 years ago. The more I learn, the more convinced I am that diet is, by far, the most important component in human health. And bad diet is the primary cause of most of today's burgeoning chronic diseases.

By the way, any chance of getting an annual (pay in advance) membership?

  2. smc,
We're considering annual membership as an option. Problem is we want to keep it extremely simple and having only one choice (free trial month, then $9) makes it as simple as possible. And it's just like Netflix. Still thinking about it though.

Regarding 10,000 members: we are actually very close to that as we already have 7,500 Swedish members (that membership site was launched in summer of 2014) i.e. we're already at 8,500 total.

Every cent of the considerable resources from member fees are used to the best of our abilities to further our ultimate mission of revolutionizing the health of humanity.

Congratulations on your new site Andreas!! I love visiting your free pages and learning all I can about LCHF. I'm a heart disease patient and down over 32kg since starting this way of life, coupled with IF. I'm now off all heart meds and all blood results are in normal to optimal ranges. Maybe I'll be gifted with a few months membership to your new site for Mothers Day :) Until I can sign up I'll just keep exploring and learning. I wish you every success!!

    Hello,

I am 26 years old male and i have been overweight since i was a kid in high school. I want to ask you if it is safe for me to eat the LCHF way, as my doctor said that there is very big possibility that i have genetic cholesterol disorder as Familial hypercholesterolemia, as my mother does have the symptoms and Cholesterol deposits in the eyelids (xanthelasmas).

We are also on statins and we have high LDL cholesterol and lower HDL and so far we regulate the bad cholesterol successfuly only by statins.

I am really considering to sign up for your membership, but i am not sure if it is safe for me to try eating the LCHF way.

    Looking forward for your reply.

    Best Wishes,

    Alex.

    Hello Andreas,
thank you for creating this blog so far! I am considering signing up, but I have a question to go along with it.
I currently live in Sweden and only started learning the language, though I was wondering if by any chance it would be possible to access both Swedish and English version of premium (as a language exercise haha)
I do realise I could sign up for both but then it would become a really big strain on student budget as you can probably imagine.

  6. Olga,
At the moment the logins are unfortunately separate, but we'll make it possible to log in to both English and Swedish member sites with one membership ASAP.
