Meet the Robin Hood of science

Here’s a remarkable story about a woman who is making all the medical science in the world available to anyone. Without having to pay $30 per article, of which the researchers get nothing (it goes to the giant corporations that control prestigious journals).

I can’t even imagine how much good this can do for curious people who are not rich, like people in developing countries.

Of course I had to test it and, yes, it works, blindingly fast. It’s way faster than paying (which usually involves an annoying number of steps).

Some people may have to step up their game. Personally I don’t mind paying for access, I’m fortunate enough to be able to afford it. But it really should be made simpler and more convenient.

This is fantastic news. I have often stopped digging deeper into a subject when I came up against a paywall.
