I was convinced I could never give up sugar or carbs as that was the happiest part of my diet. I followed the two-week challenge and am amazed I haven’t had candy, cookies, cereal, bread, or pasta for two weeks – and I don’t even miss it. I’m enjoying cooking again with all of the delicious recipes, and have lost an inch around my waist!

Hello,

I loved this diet as it made everything so easy. Meals were easy to cook and the shopping list was right there to go shopping with an you only really had to cook once a day apart from eggs in the morning.

I suffer from high blood pressure and high cholesterol and unfortunately my blood pressure went extremely high and I had to go on more medication to get it lowered. My doctor thought it advisable to refrain from the diet until we had my blood pressure back under control again.

I’m hoping I can return to this diet as I need to lose weight. I thought I could still do the low-carb part and maybe cut out a lot of the fat. I would love to hear your opinions on this please. I have suffered with weight for over 40 years now and just want to be able to do the things I use to do as a kid.

Hey Andreas,

I started my challenge a little later than anticipated and I’m still mid way through it. Really enjoying it so far, in just over a week I’ve lost 3.5 kg (8 lbs) and been really enjoying the meals.

My head still feels a little groggy/fuzzy and I’m wondering when the mental clarity comes through? I’ve found I’ve felt light headed whilst doing exercise and I do go high-intensity training, similar to crossfit.

My husband and I decided to do the challenge together to burn off a few excess pounds.

The menu and shopping lists are wonderful and make this program simple to follow! Thank you!

The hardest struggle was letting go of our “low-fat” ways as this has been our way of eating for years!

I have to admit that I’m not 100% convinced the short-term and long-term effects are good for us. I was diagnosed last year with a gall bladder full of stones without any symptoms. To continue on a high-fat diet knowing I may or may not have an attack makes me very reluctant even though I’m enjoying the food, no hunger cravings and weight loss.

Undecided but wanting to commit…

    I'm not (niether is my family) doing keto as a challenge but as a lifestyle change. Both my wife and i ate diabetics. I'm type 2 and she's type 1. I started keto on October 16th, 2017, my wife and kids started on October 22. I'm slowly noticing looser fitting clothing and feel much better energy wise.
