I thought the low-carb challenge was awesome! It was an easy way to learn HOW to eat low carb without a bunch of rules to follow. I was overwhelmed at first, and not sure I could achieve low carb.

The menus, recipes and shopping lists helped guide me along in the beginning. After a few days I was making my own dishes, and I quickly realized how easy this diet was. After two weeks, I lost 7 lbs (3 kg)! Now, it is no longer a diet for me, but the way I eat.

I’m finding I have less of a craving for sugar and carbs. For instance, I had a bite of ice cream last night (Breyers, the good stuff), and it was too sweet. I also had a slice of pizza (we were celebrating), and could only eat one (whereas I was eating 3-4 slices before).

It was an amazing jump start to lose the 50 extra lbs (23 kg) I have laying around. Thank you for putting this together, and thank you for making it free. You have made a difference in my life in a place I didn’t know how to change.

In all honesty, it was toast for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch, and pasta for dinner – with a few beers to end my day. Talk about carb loading! I had no idea why I had gained so much weight.

Hi,

The 2-week challenge was just what we needed. My husband and I have been very low carb for 2 1/2 years and each lost 42 lbs (19 kg) and I reversed my diabetes completely, so we were already total believers in low carb. We have been fairly disciplined but we added in a few carbs over the summer and ate berries and made low-carb cakes and cookies a little too often and a little weight crept on, so we decided to do the 2-week challenge to give ourselves a boost and be a bit more disciplined.

We each lost 6 lbs (3 kg) during the two weeks which is great but more than that, it put us totally back on track in terms of portion control, amount of fat (we definitely weren’t eating enough) and cutting out snacks. We also loved the recipes – many of which we would not have normally have dreamt to try.

We are going to carry on with the keto meal plans indefinitely. The shopping lists are great – we have hardly any waste now as only buy exactly what is needed for the week.

Thanks for kick starting us again. We really do love LCHF.

I thought it was the easiest diet challenge ever. Who doesn’t love cream sauces, and I had already been eating more healthy, so the vegetables were easy to include. I didn’t miss fruit, and I was NEVER hungry.

I modified the recipes somewhat, changing the ingredients for one recipe with the ingredients for another, but keeping what seemed to be the same balance. I’m going to keep going. I was inspired when I read keeping on the diet will eventually stabilize my weight at an appropriate level. I am noticing my pants fit better, and this dumb belly fat is lessening.

I enjoyed a lot of the recipes… some are delicious! I work weekdays and do grocery shopping on Saturday and cooking for the week on Sunday. I am interested in joining but would like some way to pick dishes I’m interested in. There are a lot that sound good to me and a few I wouldn’t be interested in. Overall fantastic! I’ve been telling people about your website.

I am enjoying the diet. Surprisingly, I really haven’t been hungry. I tried the diet for a couple weeks before doing the 2-week challenge which I valued most for the recipes and helpful videos (e.g. why my weight loss was slow).

I’ve taken some of that advice to heart and am being more diligent. This Thursday will be four weeks and I have lost 6 lbs (3 kg). Biggest negatives for me is constipation and some trouble sleeping. And I do miss fruit! I have a half grapefruit a couple times a week and many berries…

My husband and 2 teenage sons have enjoyed many of the entrees which, for them, I can supplement with mashed potatoes or rice etc. They like it!
