- A new RCT published in Nutrition & Diabetes documents that an ad libitum (no calorie counting) very-low carb diet outperforms a calorie restricted moderate-carb diet in overweight adults with type 2 diabetes or prediabetes.
- New meta-analysis published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine shows no significant association between total fat or saturated fat consumption and coronary heart disease deaths.
