“I absolutely loved it!!”

Our new two-week low-carb challenge continues to bring massive success. So far this year 29,000 people have signed up for FREE guidance, meal plans, recipes, shopping lists, troubleshooting tips, etc.

What could happen if you were to take it? Here’s feedback from this week:

I lost 10 lbs. (5 kg) doing this challenge, I’m going to be completely honest, I was skeptical at first, then I stepped on the scale and realized, I lost 10 lbs. by eating foods I love… burgers, fish, chicken, salads, it’s literally so easy!

I’m going to just take those same recipes and continue to cook them because 1) THEY WERE AMAZING and 2) it was fun! And heck, I may lose another 10 lbs., who knows!

Thanks so much for this fabulous new way of looking at dieting and eating of course! I’ve told all my friends about it, hopefully I can get them to partake in it as well.

Take care

Jay K.

Dear Andreas,

Thank you for all the ideas and tips on the LCHF diet. It is a wonderful way to a healthier lifestyle.

I started two weeks ago and have lost almost 3 kg (7 lbs.) by yesterday morning, plus 5 cm around the waist. During the first two, three days I did feel a bit odd, not really hungry but different, can’t explain the feeling. Later on no issues at all. As I can’t digest too much cheese or cream, I would add more tofu and veggies to my plate. I realized I ate far too much fruits believing that they were the healthiest snack. I will definitely continue LCHF and also apply it to our family’s eating habits.

Thank you again and all the best from

The low carb challenge has done wonders for me. I’ve lost 5 kg (10 lbs.) in two weeks and I’m excited to see how far I can go. I only weigh 152 lbs. (69 kg) so I’m lucky I haven’t got as far to go as others.

The only exercise I am doing is walking 30-40 mins a day. I am also diabetic 2 but my sugar is way down now. Thanks in anticipation of your help.

This was amazing to try…

I went to my Dr. appointment on Friday… I lost 10 lbs. (5 kg) and my blood pressure was great – 125/77!! I been trying many things to get it down.. And this new way of eating has really helped!!

Thank you!!

I really enjoyed the challenge. It was good to have actual recipes to follow to make more interesting dishes.

I had started eating Keto but the group that I followed was very restrictive and I got bored of unimaginative meals but, no more!

I have opted for the 3rd week as I want to experience as much as I can. I have had moderate weight loss but the inches have gone and I’m happy with that, thanks.

I REALLY appreciate this website and diet. I have lost 6 lbs. (3 kg) in 3 weeks and my sugar cravings are nearly gone.

Loved the menu and information offered.

Thank you.

I love the diet, it’s easy to follow and I lost a 15 lbs. (7 kg)…

The draw back is the low low energy because I am very active where I work out vigorously 5 days a weeks. Nevertheless, it was awesome…

I will definitely be continuing the eating style for the rest of my life!!!

I lost 3 kilograms!! It was tough but I made it!

I appreciate the support emails each day.

I have lost 5 or 6 lbs. (2-3 kg) (good for a 65 yr old woman, even with drinking a few glasses of wine each day) and will keep this eating plan.

The last 3 days I have added 2T of ground flax seed in the AM and that is good for fiber (mixed with 1 boiled egg and butter and coconut oil makes a yummy breakfast).

Thank you.

Hi Andreas,

Thank you for providing all of the LCHF information. It has transformed my relationship with food.

Ever since I was a child I’ve thought about food and had to resist strong cravings. My weight has, in the past, been up to two stones heavier than my ideal. At the moment I’m in the correct range but my relationship with food hasn’t improved much.

Discovering LCHF has released me from the constant hunger and cravings. I do sometimes think poor me I can’t eat normally like others but actually having this sense of control is much better than the carbs. I’ve lost 5 lbs. (2 kg) following Diet Doctor and I’d like to lose 7 lbs. more to get me under 9 stone (57 kg) for my 5 ft 4 (163 cm) in height.

I’m recommending your site to lots of people. Thank you again.

I absolutely loved it!!!!!!!!!

And have told all my friends about your website. :)

Your recipes are by far some of the most delicious foods I have made or eaten. :) And easy as well. :) My husband doesn’t even know he is on a diet. :)

Thank you so much for doing this for all of us, I am very grateful. :)

Down from 201.8 lbs. (91 kg) to 192 lbs. (87 kg), sweet huh. :)

Thx again,

G’morning doctor.

The low-carb challenge was awesome.

When I started 2 weeks ago my weight was 92.8 kg (204 lbs.) my weight is now 90.9 kg (200 lbs.). I lost 1.9 kg and no I don’t want to change anything. I’m going on.

Thank u soooo soooo much for helping me. In 3 months time I will have my normal weight.

Thank u, I’m very excited.

Are you ready?

Over all the original two week diet was good, but a prolonged use of the diet has some side effects on your social life. I won't explain further you'll quickly come to realise what these are. Then there is the actual eating of fat, genuine fatty food are quite hard to find and are very few, you will quickly run out of ideas of what to eat and you will find yourself eating the same things over and over. You can mix things up with spices but it gets very tiresome very quickly. If you are on the diet for health reasons such as type two diabetes or metabolic syndrome, you may be looking at this diet as a long term solution, but don't get carried away with how brilliant this diet is until you have been on it for some time. The weight loss at the start can be brilliant, but some people struggle at first because they are mistaking protein for fat and are eating too much protein in their diet. But the point of never feeling hungry and if you are still hungry eat some more are not true. In the long term this diet is very boring and you'll find portion size matters alot. Fasting or starving yourself is a huge part of this diet as to make it work properly you must induce a state of starvation for your body to start using fats as fuel. I found this part of the diet very distasteful as it smacked of anorexia, deliberately starving yourself to lose weight. I simply refuse to go down that road. If you should get the fats and protein parts of your meals wrong you'll can stay in a state of ketonic flu for weeks even months. This is a very miserable state to be in for a long period I can tell you. One of the unwritten side effects is, should you become ill while on this diet such as catch a cold, you are likely to take longer to recover and may suffer very bad ketonic flu symptoms on top of your illness. This diet is nothing more than a tool to use to reduce your weight quickly. Any long term effects it has on curing type two diabetes is I believe are still unfounded. Anyone claiming to have been cured of type two diabetes while on this diet I challenge them to go back to a normal balanced diet and see if their type two returns. Good luck if you are on this diet I hope you achieve your goals .

Bob T. I don't agree with you at all.
I am an 80 yr old woman and on a low carb diet for three years. My current weight of 52 kilo's is ideal for my 1.56 height. I came down from 61 kilo's.
We go to parties, on cruises and to restaurants and I always succeed in finding lowcarb items.
I haven't been sick for one day like before, no colds no flue and very active.
So, I don't agree with you....

    Hi Bob T!

Great that you show such a big interest in this fantastic diet! :)

But I don't understand your argument, why a type 2 diabetic that has reversed all symptoms just by eating LCHF should go back to the diet which made him sick in the first place? Sounds stupid to me.

Only on this site we have 100+ success stories please read them and you might change your opinion of LCHF.
