Part 1-3
I’ve been IF (18/6) for more than two months. I’m diabetic and am now taking 60 units of insulin at night. I’ve cut all grains and feast on celery, a slice of cheese and some nuts. I still wake up with a 180 blood glucose. I even ate only salad for an evening meal and saw numbers the next morning over 200. Is my liver dumping fat or sugar or what? Can I even expect to start losing weight taking all this demon insulin? How can I cut back on the insulin...my diet can’t get more skinny! Help! Pam Gilbert
Instead of a salad, try having more fat and protein at dinner. If you haven't yet, you might find our two week challenge helpful to keep carbs low and fats higher.
