I just wrote in another Post that CF sufferers should experiment with the Keto Diet. If thier mitochondria (the cellular energy furnace ) is damaged a high carbohydrate intake will convert to Lactic acid cellularly driving up thier pain issue's, as in FM, Fibromyalgia.
If the KREB, and Cori Energy Cycle are damaged, they are converting carbs in an Oxygen deficient environment, known as anaerobic glycolosis! Lactic acid is overproduced causing pain issue's and brain fog. They may want to do a cow dairy exorcism as my theory is that our cellular Lactic acid is first cousins with the Lactic acid in cow dairy. I suffered MELAS, Mitochondrial encephalopathy, Lactic acid Stroke like symptoms from elevated Lactic acid.
I went off of cow dairy as I had just eaten a yogurt and was off my Puffers within weeks and Fibromyalgia free. Lactic acid antagonizes the delicate air sacs in the lungs. I didn't have dairy for 1.5 years and missed it dearly. My Naturopath suggested I try goat or sheep dairy with no complications.
I counter the Medical communities dogma that MELAS is only inherited from the womb. It also happened to a coworker in the toxic fume x-p to Pulp Mill Emissions. Hundreds of Tons per Day of methanol are Vented to atmosphere. The Chemical Chain is methanol > formaldehyde > formic acid which metabolizes to Formic acid in the Liver then Lactic acid in all the cells. There is formaldehyde in vehicle exhaust that was worsening my work x-p.
