Is people’s failure to take responsibility for their own health entirely to blame for the obesity epidemic? Certainly not, as long as people are misinformed by misguided and obsolete low-fat guidelines. And it certainly does not help when people are also actively lied to by the junk food industry:

It is one thing to promote your products and let the American people decide whether to consume them. I wrote this post while consuming a delicious cup of hot chocolate – sugar tastes great, I know that. But it is immoral to sell your products by lying to people.
